*Basics group will teach the foundations of wrestling starting from the beginning. We will focus on teaching the basic moves and skillset needed to compete in a live match with our end goal to prepare students for advancing to the next level and the basic knowledge to participate in weekend tournaments. All practices will be held at Karcher Middle School and there will be no competition during the season. Practices will generally consist of 30min of technique, 15min of live wrestling and 15min of aerobic games and fun. Attending all practices is not required, come as your schedule allows.

*Advanced Group will focus on fine tuning the wrestlers skill set and preparation for competing in weekend tournaments. Basic experience is assumed so while we will review these things earlier in the season, the majority of learning will be on more advanced techniques and live wrestling. Regular practice days will generally consist of 30 min of technique, 45min of live wrestling and 15min of aerobic games and fun. On many days we will be either hosting or traveling to other schools for joint practices or scrimmages with local teams. Some of the teams will include but not limited to: Lake Geneva, Mukwonago, Union Grove, New Berlin, Franklin and Waterford. The team will also travel to six club coached weekend events (Optional to participate) concluding at the State Wrestling Tournament in Madison on March 25th. Exact schedule for practices and tournaments will be provided during the first week of December. Attending all practices or tournaments is not required, come as your schedule allows.
